The beauty-meets-travel drop of the season has landed. Rare Beauty x Béis, the collaboration between Selena Gomez's makeup brand and Shay Mitchell's travel label, returned on Monday, 12 October, with an eight-piece collection in a new raspberry shade called Limitless — and, for the first time, a dedicated makeup set. After the first collaboration nearly sold out in under an hour in 2025, according to the companies, the Rare Beauty x Béis Limitless edit is the launch beauty shoppers are racing to decode this week. Here is what is in it, what it costs, and how to actually wear that raspberry on your face.

What's in the Rare Beauty x Béis Limitless collection

WWD, which got a first look, reports that the partnership has expanded from three travel and beauty accessories last year to an eight-piece assortment spanning luggage, travel essentials and colour cosmetics. Marie Claire, which revealed the collection exclusively, describes Limitless as "a bright raspberry color that's bright, fun, and punchy."

On the travel side, Béis is bringing its Carry-On ($278), Medium Check-In Roller ($348) and Large Check-In Roller ($378) into the Limitless colourway, along with the Mini Weekender ($118). There are also small, medium and large cosmetic pouches, priced from $34 to $74, per both WWD and Marie Claire. Marie Claire notes that the Weekender is the newer, updated version of the Béis bag.

The Limitless Cheek & Lip Set: the beauty headline

For beauty lovers, the most important piece is the smallest. Rare Beauty is introducing a $32 Limitless Cheek & Lip Set created specifically for the collaboration, pairing full sizes of its Soft Pinch Liquid Blush and Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss, WWD reports. Marie Claire calls it "the first makeup bundle created for the BÉIS partnership," and points out that Soft Pinch has "been living in makeup bags for years at this point" — so putting it inside an actual travel collaboration feels, in the magazine's words, "pretty on the nose — in a good way."

The pairing makes sense. A liquid blush and a luminous gloss in the same family shade is the fastest route to a coordinated face: colour on the cheeks, colour on the lips, done. It is also the kind of two-product kit that genuinely earns a place in a carry-on.

What Selena Gomez and Shay Mitchell said

Both founders spoke about the partnership in statements to WWD. "Working with Shay again feels especially meaningful because our first collaboration was rooted in genuine friendship and a shared connection with our communities," Gomez said. "This collection is about confidence and self-expression, and it reflects what we both care about: giving people something that helps them show up as their best selves."

Mitchell, head of creative and design at Béis, said: "One of the best parts of this partnership has been getting to build alongside another founder with such a clear point of view. Selena has created a brand that feels so distinctly her."

The two appear together in the campaign — the image on our cover, which shows them stepping out of a lift with raspberry luggage and pouches, Gomez in a white tie-front blouse and Mitchell in a pink feathered bustier and wide-leg jeans.

How to wear a raspberry blush and gloss

Raspberry is a cool-leaning, saturated pink, which makes it more forgiving than it looks. The key with any concentrated liquid blush is to start with far less than you think you need. Dot a tiny amount on the back of your hand first, then tap it onto the apples of the cheeks with fingertips or a damp sponge and blend upward toward the temples. Build in thin layers rather than one heavy swipe.

For the lips, a luminising gloss in the same shade family can be worn two ways. For daytime, press a little blush onto the lips first as a stain, then add a thin layer of gloss in the centre for shine. For evening, wear the gloss over a lip liner a shade deeper for more definition and staying power.

Making Limitless work on Indian skin tones

Bright raspberry can look stunning on medium and deep skin tones — it is the kind of jewel-adjacent pink that reads as festive rather than sugary. On deeper complexions, apply the blush slightly higher and blend it out generously so it reads as a flush rather than a stripe; a touch of bronzer beneath the cheekbone keeps it grounded. On fair to light-medium skin, sheer it out with a little moisturiser for a softer, just-pinched effect.

It is also a natural fit for the festive season. A raspberry cheek and glossy lip work beautifully with gold jewellery, ivory or pastel outfits, and the classic kohl-rimmed eye, giving you a modern alternative to the default red lip for Navratri nights and Diwali parties.

Price, availability and the charity tie-in

The Béis x Rare Beauty 2026 collection dropped on 12 October on both brands' websites, Marie Claire reports. Prices are listed in US dollars; Indian shoppers should check international shipping and duties on each brand's site before checking out. Given that the 2025 collection moved through almost all of its inventory in less than an hour, per Marie Claire, the smaller pieces such as the Cheek & Lip Set and the pouches are the likeliest to disappear first.

WWD adds that the partnership will extend to the annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit, where Béis will make a donation and host an on-site gifting activation featuring the new collection. The Rare Impact Fund, as Parade has described it (via MediaPost's roundup), works to expand access to mental health services and education for young people.

The verdict

Celebrity beauty collaborations are everywhere, but this one has a clear point: it makes the makeup bag the hero of the luggage, not an afterthought. If you only buy one thing, make it the $32 Limitless Cheek & Lip Set — a two-step, one-shade face that travels as well as it photographs. Another makeup bag, as Marie Claire's beauty editor cheerfully admitted, is not strictly necessary. The raspberry flush might be.
