Daisy Edgar-Jones' Estée Lauder makeup has quietly become one of the best beauty stories of the Sense & Sensibility press tour, and now you can buy the exact shades. Ahead of the film's premiere on Friday, Estée Lauder has released two special-edition makeup bundles inspired by the Dashwood sisters, created with the actor and her makeup artist Jo Baker. In an exclusive interview with WWD published on 14 October, Baker broke down both looks, product by product. Here is what is in each set, how Baker builds the face, and how to recreate the soft "Sense" glow or the moodier "Sensibility" version at home.
Daisy Edgar-Jones and Estée Lauder: the backstory
Daisy Edgar-Jones was named an Estée Lauder global brand ambassador in January 2026, joining a line-up that includes Ana de Armas, Karlie Kloss, Imaan Hammam and Paulina Porizkova. Beauty News Daily reported at the time that the partnership would cover skincare, makeup and fragrance. "As an actress, I love how makeup can tell a story of who we are," she said then.
Sense & Sensibility is the first big moment of that partnership. Daisy Edgar-Jones plays Elinor Dashwood in the new adaptation, opposite Esmé Creed-Miles as her sister Marianne, and the two bundles turn those two personalities into makeup.
What is in the Estée Lauder Sense & Sensibility bundles?
According to WWD, both sets are built from the same core Estée Lauder products that Jo Baker has been using on Daisy Edgar-Jones throughout the press tour: Advanced Night Repair serum, Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation, Essential Eyeshadow Sticks, Futurist Blushmaker Dewy Cheek Tint Liquid Blush and Futurist HydraPlump Tinted Lip Balm. Estée Lauder's own page notes that each bundle comes in a limited-edition drawstring pouch with a deluxe sample of Advanced Night Repair. WWD adds that the powder-blue pouch was hand-picked by the actor herself.
The Sense bundle (Elinor's look)
Baker describes Sense, the Elinor Dashwood mood, as "innocent" and "naive." The shades are:
Eyeshadow sticks in Rose, Spritz and Latte. Blush in Stolen Glance and Across the Dance Floor. Lip balm in Blush Renewal.
The Sensibility bundle (Marianne's look)
Sensibility, for the more passionate Marianne, goes deeper. The shades are:
Eyeshadow sticks in Hazelnut, Sugar Plum and Espresso. Blush in Elevator Smile and Skinny Dip. Lip balms in Clove Cushion and Cherry Glow.
Jo Baker's makeup philosophy: a little bit more
Interestingly, Baker admits which side she is on. "I always lean a little bit more sensibility," she told WWD. "Working with Daisy, who's a little sweet and young, I feel like I'm the mama bear that's like, 'Yeah, let's go for a little extra blush and a bit of feeling and mood and pigment in your look.'"
That explains the press-tour beauty: fresh, young skin, but never bare. Baker said the team works "very much in unison" with hair architect Bryce Scarlett and stylist Dani Michelle, and that every look "always starts with what [Daisy] is wearing." When the actor wore an archival Chloé by Stella McCartney outfit from around 1999, Baker said she tried to bring "a little bit of that 'regressional' teen spirit forward" from her own late teens in London.
How to recreate the Sense makeup look
This is the softer, everyday version. It works for daytime, the office or any time you want a "my skin but better" finish.
Step 1: Prep and a light base
Start with a serum such as Advanced Night Repair on clean skin, then apply a thin layer of foundation only where you need it. Keep it sheer so freckles and texture still show through; the aim is fresh, not flawless.
Step 2: Wash the lids with a stick shadow
Use a shimmery rose stick such as Rose across the lid and blend with a fingertip. Add a soft brown such as Latte close to the lash line for definition, and a dab of a light, bright shade such as Spritz in the inner corner.
Step 3: Build a bouncy flush
Here is the heart of the look. Baker told WWD she wants everyone to "get into the beautiful cream blushes," and that she has been blending colours together. Dot a liquid blush on the apples of the cheeks, blend upward, then layer a second shade on top. Her description is "soft, bouncy, youthful, glowy," and she says it works "whether you're 15 or 75."
Step 4: A tinted balm on the lips
Finish with a sheer pink tinted lip balm, such as Blush Renewal, pressed in with a finger for a just-bitten feel.
How to recreate the Sensibility makeup look
This is the evening version, with more mood and pigment.
Step 1: Deepen the eyes
Sweep a warm brown stick such as Hazelnut over the lid, then smudge a deeper shade such as Espresso into the outer corner and along the lower lash line. Pat a berry tone such as Sugar Plum in the centre of the lid for a romantic flash of colour.
Step 2: Stronger cheeks
Layer a brighter blush such as Elevator Smile with a deeper one such as Skinny Dip, placing colour slightly higher on the cheekbone for a flushed, emotional look.
Step 3: A stained lip
Apply a deeper tinted balm such as Clove Cushion, then press a glossy cherry shade such as Cherry Glow into the centre of the lips.
Why this beauty collab works
Film-themed beauty bundles can feel like merchandise, but this one is built around how the actor actually wears makeup on the carpet. Every product in the sets is something Jo Baker has used on Daisy Edgar-Jones' face during the press tour, according to WWD. The two-sister concept also gives shoppers an easy choice: soft and sensible, or warm and dramatic.
It also fits the season's biggest beauty mood. Cream and liquid blush, worn generously, has become the defining texture of autumn, and Baker's advice is essentially a masterclass in it.
